Default Valve lash adjustment = amazing

So I did a valve adjustment last weekend on my brother's del Sol last weekend that he just got a few weeks ago, and every single valve clearance was grossly out of spec.

So I figured I'd check the clearances on mine because it had been awhile since I last adjusted them. Got to it this morning, went through every valve, and found only ONE valve (#3 exhaust side) that was out-of-spec, and it was just barely loose, maybe .009 instead of .007

I went back and checked my records, last time I adjusted my valve clearances was 26K miles ago, August of last year, at 211,000 miles. Today I'm almost at 237,000 miles, and only one valve was just barely loose. I couldn't believe it.

And when I say all the rest were in-spec, I mean .006 would go in on the intake side, but not the .007. The .007 would go in on the exhaust side, but not the .008. That's how I check and adjust mine, and I like to keep them on the tighter end of the range to help keep valvetrain noise in check as much as possible.

Made for a quick job for sure. Just wanted to share.
