Coming home tonite, its raining BIG time, im going down the interstate at about 15mph, then WOOOOSH, water up over the hood!!! Car dies, and won't turnover, it won't do anything! I call AAA, they tow me to a parking lot, i luckily carry a toolbox w/ me at all times, that has enough tools in it to do any kind of work i need to car. So i pull the spark plugs, and crank it over, all 4 cylinders shot out water for about 2mins, i did that until water quit coming out, put the car back together, and then it wouldn't start, it would turn over, finally after a few mins, it starts, but only idles @ 500rpms BARELY. I let it sit running for about 10mins, steam is coming out of the exhaust the whole time, so i begin the 45min drive home, car won't pull past 4krpms and if you bog it down below 2krpms it tries to die, but i make it all the way home w/ out any mishaps, and on the rd to my house, it pulled to redline in 2nd gear w/ out any problems. It didn't overheat on the way home so im pretty sure the head gasket isn't blown. I have to drive it to work tomorrow, then tomorrow evening do a compression check on it to make sure there is no damage to the motor.

 

Dude you just rinsed out the combustion chamber. Just gave it a good cleaning thats all...
