You think my RE010's will last to/from the EXPO?
I have driven on these tires for 17,400 miles as of now and even used them in the 1/4 mile track more than a few times.
So there about half gone but still have some good tread left in them. Will they last the trip to the EXPO, a few laps at Gingerman, and make it back home to NY?
Or should I just order a set a AZENIS and toss the RE010's?

yeah I've noticed they are starting to slip a bit in the rain, just a bit on turns.
I was hoping to get at least 20K miles out of them.

Just slow down in the rain.
If they're only about half gone, ... they're just right for the track!

They'll most likely be fine... assumed you take their condition into account on the track (not every lap can be a ("flying lap"). Put the best 2 on the front and put the best tires front and rear on the outside corner (the outside corner thru most of the turns on the track). Monitor inflation pressures during the day and you should be fine...
but if you want to spend $, order the azenis... I would use up the 010's first... azenis will probably offer better overall grip, but cost more $! Since you have 17k on the 010's already, and they are only showing 1/2 wear, I suggest learning how the R responds to the 010's on track before moving to a better tire...
Are you saying they're half gone because you've measured the tread and they're at 6/32" (halfway between new 10/32" and the treadwear indicator bars 2/32") or because you think that they're guaranteed to last 35K miles?
You'll probably put about 1600 miles on the trip to and from, and maybe 200 or so track miles which might be equivalent to 600-800 street miles. Extrapolate from your remaining tread to see whether they'll last that long.
My guess - if they're not almost to the treadwear bars, you'll probably be fine for the trip.

Stop being a wuss and come to the Auto-x on Sunday plus a trip to e-town to kill the old RE010's and get some Azenis so you can stop looking at mine

There about less than 1/4 inch from the tread indicators
I don't expect them to last any much longer but just wondering how much I really have left.

The treadwear indicator bars are at 2/32". Most new street tires come with 10/32" of tread. That means that most new tires have 1/4 inch of tread from the tread indicators.
