Default exhaust

i have a 5zigen exhaust which my friend gave to me now.. now i'm planning to put in my 88 crx with a dohc zc ..now i'm thinking of 2" would that be too loud.. i dont really want it too loud that i'm going to wake up the whole neighborhood when i come home late..

iknow i know ..it sounded funny..lolz ..i just re read on what i wrote ..lolz..lemme rephrase on what i said..then u guys could laugh at me again..lolz.coz i laughed at myself..lolz..what would be a good size piping for my car with a 5zigen exhaust???.. is that better..lolz

the size shouldnt affect the sound that much get a good large resonator to quiet it

2" is way too small. You want 2.25" (or 2" 1/4) atleast with a DOHC ZC, aslong as you have a resonator it shouldn't be too loud. If you're really worried then don't use the 5zigen and get a quieter exhaust.

click the search button and find a bunch of topics about crx and civic exhausts. you'll thank yourself later. there is alot of good info on this site, along with some bullshit. enjoy your stay, read a lot and post less. welcome.

i got 2.5 custom ehaust with aspec muffler and it has a nice lower pitched tune it really dosent get loud untill you break 4000rpm.

I just learned to cut my engine 3 blocks from my house to ensure that no one would hear me coming in to park. I also pushed my car down the street and then started it and left.

for the win.
