no power from 1 thousand to 3 in ej8

Default no power from 1 thousand to 3 in ej8

alright, so i have an ej8 and from 1 to 3 thousand rpm's it feels like i have NO power then after 3 its good. When going from 1 to 3 it jerks a little bit. i tried searhing and got nothing. anyone have any ideas?

A couple things could be suspect:

Timing is off
Fuel filter
spark plugs
air filter
ignition parts (cap, wires, rotor, coil)

if you experienced this after installing a cold air or short ram intake it is because you have too much air flow. but if not try checking what .Red.EM2 said (remember for any upgrade you do to your car, if you dont have it tuned it is most likely killing your performance)

Not for bolt ons other then cams really. Intake you don't need a tune.

Really, no bolt ons require a tune, if you can really classify them a bolt on. That is just a part of it being called a bolt on. No tuning needed.
