GS-R engine wiring harness???
I'm in the process of looking for GS-RR obd1 wiring harness for my b18c swap into my '95 LS teg. This guy is selling a 92-95 Si harness w/ knock sensor. But he informed me he says, "You have to hard wire your Knock sensor in your interior compartment because on the LS cars, they don't
come with a knock sensor wire even if I get a GS-R wiring harness." Is this true?
Needs some help?

A GSR wire harness has a knock sensor, because, well, the engine has a knock sensor. (duh) I'm not sure if the LS comes with a knock sensor wire on the harness, but if it doesn't, then yes, you would have to wire that into the GSR ECU. You can use the 92-95 Si/EX harness, but will have to add the knock sensor and the secondary butterflies. Did it this weekend, easy stuff.
Why don't you use your existing harness and add the wires for vtec and secondary butterflies?
Hey guys, I'm pretty much a newbie to swaping engine's. How do you do that or can you refer me to a site for adding wiring the knock sensor and secondary butterfly.
It's just a matter of running a few wires through the fire wall from the ECU to the connector on the pasenger side of the engine compartment. The critical thing for reliability is to use stock honda pins. This issue of Sport Compact Car has a "Hybrid How To" section that shows this. They got the pins from HASport.
You can also just go to a junk yard and find the proper connectors on a wreak. Thats what i did to practice removing and inserting the pins (I didn't want to F' up the ones on my car untill i knew what i was doing).
