Intake Control Solenoid valve? do I need this?
its the vacuum box located by the battery and connects to the intake manifold I didn't have this on my old lude. I was wondering what its purpose is. and if I got rid of it would it effect my performace of my engine?

its the vacuum box that controls the throttle plates inside the resonator of the intake box on the outside fender.. if you have a aftermarket intake you dont need to worry about it.. HELL, if you have a stock intake box.. you still dont need to worry about it.. you can take it out.. just plug up the vacuum line at the intake manifold where the old line went to
