Im getting new aluminsed piping and coresponding mendrel bent U's. Well what size should I get for a futur b16a1 setup. Presently I got a d16a6 with bolt ons.

I would use 2.25 or at the largest 2.5...

 

That is what I was thinking too. How much should I be paying for a straight lets say 10 ft section of 2.25 aluminum pipe???

For alumanized? hmmmmm, I'd say no more than 150 or 200 but that's kinda high. My boy works at a muffler shop. I'll ask him and post up what he says, that's just off the top of my head though

 

Ok im still wondering how much it is all gona cost me for a straight section of pipe. I got a quote of 30 cdn on each mendrel bent U but i donno how much a straight section costs...

Now one more quicky... Should I gut the cat and leave it on or take it out completely and weld the pipes to the header..??? THX

 

Yeah but that is a bent pipe for the car. Im taking about an unbent piece of pipe. I paid 120 cdn on my old car bent for me installed so i was thinking 50 tops for a straight piece of pipe...........

OK i went and bought one at 2.25" and alumiunum it came to 29 cdn or 15 us.

Pretty cheap for 10 ft long i though. Also bought a new tip for 40 cdn or 25 us.
