Default Aluminum donuts?

I'm almost positive I've seen a site that sells these but I can't remember who. If anyone knows of a place that does, please post up. A search on here in this forum came back with nothing.

I'm looking for 3" od tubing, and around .065"wall thickness. Thanks.

I know the Road Race Engineering sells the steel or stainless donuts, but I'm not sure about aluminum....call them and ask.

I could try that on Monday. One of my boss's are good friends with Ty @ "Woad Wace" so I'll see what we can get on hook up if aluminum is even an option. I know he was able to get 4" SS donuts even though they weren't on the site, so maybe aluminum is possible too. I just don't feel like paying for 3 regular 90* bends which will most likely have a larger center line radius than I want.

I'm probably a liiiiiiiiittle bit too far away but we use them here in Australia for some turbo inlet piping we do. I know you're looking at using .065" (1/16") doughnuts but may I suggest you go up slightly in thickness, we use ones that are 2mm thick (approx .080") which we find give better results.
What happens when the doughnuts are spun the material on the inner radius ends up thinner than the outer radius (it gets moved by the spinning process) and usually on a .065 thick doughnut the inner radius could well end being closer to .049 thick and this doesn't weld as well as the outer radius.
Regards Andrew.

Are these bought through velocity of sound? I vaguely remember seeing them on a site and I thought it was that one but it looks like they took down their tubing section of the website..... or at least it seems from a quick look.

Looks like RRE can get them. I'm going to hold off a bit though as it's close to $100.

Nothing other than the lead to RRE, but I'm still trying to get ahold of Ty so he can send one out to me and I see that it's not actually aluminized.

The guy RRE believed they could get the donuts from can't or doesn't do aluminum ones anymore. I'm going to use a mild steel one and paint it, but it'd still be nice to know a place that sells aluminum.
