Default Underdrive question...again

Alright, I daily drive my CD7 but I want to buy the UR undriven pulleys. I have removed the A/C fan (will remove entire system soon), and my radio to help prepare for these pulleys, but I am going to keep the PS. Anybody have any other ideas to help? Do any of you have the UNDERDRIVEN ones on your cars, if so, how do you like them?

What exactly are you concerned about? I've pretty much only read good thing about UR pulleys but if you're really that concerned why don't you just get their lightened stock size pulleys?

The way manufacturers make their cars, and the size of pulleys they use is pretty much a "way that is supposed to be". So why going to "underdrive" the pulleys and such, make your alternator not be able to keep up with the vehicle's need. If you drive short distances, the alternator won't be able to keep up with the battery, and you will need "jump starts" often, not to mention that if you have amps and subs going on in the car, that will kill the battery even quicker when using underdrive pulleys.

I have the AEMs on my Alternator and PS pump but OE crank pully.

Many people say you can replace the crank pully with an underdriven one with no ill effects.

However, King Motorsports works on my car and have been building tuned Hondas & race Hondas since the begining of time. They say don't replace the OE crank pully. It is vibrationally dampened, and you risk the longevity of the engine if you do so. It's simpler and safer to just underdrive on the accesory side of things

OE aternator pulley = 15 oz.
AEM alternator pulley = 8 oz.

OE P.S. pulley = 10.5 oz.
AEM P.S. pulley = 6 oz.

I still think OE sized lightened pulleys are a better idea but my friend ran AEM underdrive pulleys on his H22 and didn't have any problems.
