I use a 60mm TB on my B20vtec. I'm sure you can make 400hp+ boosted with it as well.

I've been laughed at for using a 60mm, but i think it's damn funny how iggnorance is bliss, and the average person looks at a throttle body, and actually thinks it's too small for their "setup". I sware this whole country is all about "bigger is better".

A bigger throttle body usually makes more midrange, and helps cylinder filling at lower to mid engine speeds, mainly because the pressure differential is greater at the start of the intake stroke, between the chamber and atmospheric pressure, compared to a smaller throttle body. Same reason why you can create a greater scavenging effect with a greater tapered collector on your header, when using an exhaust. The added exhaust length holds the negative pressure longer during the intake stroke. And usually a greater maximum depression on the first 1/3 of the intake stroke yields higher positive pressure right before BDC. So a small degree of taper after the header throat with the use of an exhaust will usually not benefit the midrange, compared to a greater taper with an exhaust.

I -think- I'm going to stick with the 60mm and sell my billet one unless someone tells me that it's a dumb idea.

you think i need an upgrade? LOL yeah, make some money back. that is your benefit.
