Default Another fog light question...

OK, I feel like sh*t, my driver side fog light decided
to accept a rock.

Yeah its cracked, broken.

I was wondering if anyone would know if that "plastic" shield
thingy that people would put on your bumper, headlights, etc.
Would it help protect my possible future fog light replacement
or no???

If you are referring to the 3M clea bra I'm not sure if they have one that protects the fogs. I know they have a kit for the headlights. http://www.invisiblemask.com/c...l=720

They seem to have a kit for eveything but the fogs. Try emailing them or you can always use laminex(sp). Hope this helps.

Yeah the clear bra thing, would that really protect the
fog lights, cuz I remember someone showing a picture
of the bra being fried by the fog light or was that lamin-x's
product?

Headlights dont put out the heat like the fogs do.

The film is for protection from rocks. But, fogs get so HOT they melt the film. I am just wondering if these fogs have tempered glass in the front?

The switch is intergrated into the combonation light/turn signal switch... you replace the whole stalk on the steering column and it has an on/off for the fogs.

As of now, I'm still under debating on what I should
do with the broken fog light situation. Right now,
I've covered both fog lights with electrical tape.
Would anyone have any idea how much it would be
to have the fog light covers back onto the front
bummer??? or... would it be wise to just take out
the fog lights and have the holes there for better
air flow for my cai??? What do you guys think?

I dont imagine you can buy the plastic pieces where the fogs go seperatley from the entire bumper(seeing has how they get cut out).. may just have to remove the fogs and leave the holes there

So then why isn't fog lights an available option on the online 'builder' on hondas website like it was for the 06 model?
