Funny story. I've only had my Si for about 2 months now. It seemed a lot slower than it was suppose to be, so I decided to race my friend in his bone stock 1992 Accord. Normally an Si would beat it, but he just walked me like I was nothin. I don't really have the money for a duel cam vtec swap, but I really need to be faster. Would it be worth it to dump a bunch of cash into my d16z6? Boost? Yes or no?
Thanks for the help.

I was going to but 131000 miles of the 132000 that are on it wernt from me, and with the way its running, I'm not even sure if it could take boost without blowing the hell up.
well run a compression test...but if you dont want to go boost just i/h/e and a nice suspension setup with good tires you should be some what satisfied...i've got a EJ8 and my motor is stock..i've only touched the suspension and worked on some cosmetic stuff...

Hmm. Well thanks for the help. I'll go get a compression test sometime soon. If I stay with my single, I probably will boost it, but I'll probably build my block first, just to be safe. Thanks again for the info.
well wait....
does the z6 have potential to be a decent all motor?

decent all motor? not really
just go to http://www.turbod16.com or http://www.homemadeturbo.com, or even http://www.d-series.org and read up on the boosted hondas.
you dont need to build you block to "be safE", Stock D series, especially the Z6 can hold around 200 whp safely, but really depends on the tune and how youre running your fuel management.
you would be more than satisfied with 200 whp, trust me. it makes a peppy fun car

Better go with a diiffernt car, if you're chasing a 300 HP AWD.
