what the hell? just build up your gsr? what do you gain with that b16 head? GSR head is just fine. Built gsr is just as good.

I'd change a lot of stuff on your built gsr there, but umm,,, def. that one. b16 head would be a waste.

what about sleeving the thing up to 84mm or more. All that work and i'd want good bump in torque to go along with the extra hp. I've been thinking h22 myself, but i don't want to chop up my car, or have a hood that can't close haha.

How about a poor mans GSR? We got a B18c1 block with CTR pistons, stock crank and rods, head built by Gude and some GSR cams by Gude, with a B16a head and ITR intake manifold and T-body. We're happy so far. Tuned on Crome Pro we made over 210 plus hp and run 12.50's all day long. I say build the GSR. Especially with the parts that are out there. It's easy and inexpensive. Good Luck.

Well it's not just the cams that are making the power. The head is fully built. The cams are GSR regrinds by Gude. Can't remeber the specs, but I will call him and ask. He's got some other cams in the works and we're gonna retune. Hopefully make some more power too.

What's the difference?? You're still building a GSR block either way...just combine the best elements from both of those build lists (scrap the CTR pistons for JDM ITR) and you have a good engine making good power.
