Just wonderin which would be a better motor for a eg hatch a B16b Type-R or a B16 Head wit GSR block??

Neither motors are worth putting into an EG for the $.

the ctr motor isn't worth what you pay....just buy a GSR with a GSR head and Skunk2 mani or the other one they make for it......

GSR's with B16 head are ridiculous....lowering your compression for an intake manifold and what you think is going to be a better head for the GSR....the GSR head was made for the GSR block

if your looking to spend 4 grand on a CTR motor....don't...buy a GSR and get all your bolt ons...in my opinon you'll be faster and more happier...

I'll also add in that if you decide to go FI or boost...the GSR with the B16 head would be good...and the CTR motor would be bad...but could be done...

if money isn't an option....buy a Type R B18C5 or step up and go K-series

^^ GSR swaps arent that much cheaper than a B16b. I'd definatly take the B16b over a b16/gsr or gsr/gsr head and block combos

i think that GSR swaps are considerably cheaper .... i have seen GSR swaps go for like ... 3000 and the cheapest i have seen a CTR motor is like... 4500 on hmotors, unless the prices went down ...
