Sup fellas. my boys hatch has a lil problem. we did timing belt w-pump.and cai. new plugs. but now the cars actin up. ok if you drive it hit the gas it moves of not to strong. like be4, if you go to rev it it chokes up goes vrooom cut cut vroom cut cut wrooom redline....... we were thinking ither cat cloged or fuel filter. we tryed revin it and coverd the muffler and it didnt have enuff pressure to move my hand. also let say its ideling you head it poping and the engine is stock except for "intake". car has always gad a cel. lite on cpu blickes like 3-4 times stops.

could it be a vaccume problem he tryed eliminating the plstick cansiter by the tranny that a red hose goes to t/b

car is 91 hatch dx
swaped b18 a1.

 

Sounds like a map sensor problem, check that out.

 

maybe you the timing is off after you did the timing belt,,,if its off a tooth it will have a low redline,and "pop"

ill check map sensor i dout timing cuz let say you go on my drive way its long and a lil inclinedand drop the clutch it will rev up.....
