That's not a good idea if that is the stock motor.

If you must remove it *if you even have one* chip it out with BRE or turboedit for a obd0 setup.

Crome for obd1.

Those arn't the only systems/ways to do so, just what I'd consider best.

To get past 90,do a motor swap,or rebuild it for a turbo.I don't know how many miles your motor has,but messing with the computer on an old wornout motor is nothing but a heart-ache.

wow let me guess, you drive down some road near your house to see how fast your little engine can go, cause everyone knows the highest top speed wins races, and when you top out at 90 flying by people just trying to get home safely to meet their families, you are like, damn, i need to be going at least 120 around these people. i know, let me do some redneck **** and take off the governor, hell i might just buy some of that nos octane booster from autozone and pour it into my brake fluid resevoir, that is after i get those "speed demom" seat covers.

lmao so true, i know my motor has those specs, which is why i stopped "racing" it and drive it for what it was made for...... GAS MILEAGE!

but anyway... im thinking your "governor" is the motor itself, its whats slowing you down man

but serously, if you really want to get rid of the governer that i didnt even know was there on an obd0 engine, u need to get the ecu chipped.
