I wont make it an Indy car. But it will sitffen up the chassis. What are you expecting? dramatic decrease in understeer?

Wrong forum. There's a suspension forum where you should be asking this question. The asr brace IS necessary from what i hear if you plan on pushing the car hard in turns say for autocross. You have to beware of sub frame tear out. The car will have less body roll, but I believe(I could be wrong) you should first have a front sway bar which im sure the cx has not. Go to the suspension forum with this question or search first, you'll find plenty of info.

Yeah for a front sway bar i believe you'd need the front control arms from a dc integra. Thats what my cousin did for his 95 cx

I ran just an ITR (22mm) rear sway bar for 4 months until I could get Integra FLCAs and front 24mm sway bar. With just the rear, there was a lot of oversteer. With both, it balances out.

Sway bars make driving more fun.

and op i heard you dont need the brace as long as it isn't too thick and you do autox to cause it to rip

I don't have any experience with just a rear GSR sway bar.

Start by getting good coilovers what suit your needs first. Then move onto reinforcing your chassis, getting lighter parts, etc...
