ITR parts in an EG/EK?
i have some ITR parts that i was going to try to sell but it looks like the demand isn't as high as i thought, so now i'm thinking about buying them myself (i was going to sell them for a friend), and putting them into an old civic hatch. i have an ITR cylinder head (pro series stage 2 head from JG), a bored out ITR throttle body, and a p&p ITR intake manifold..will any other honda engines accept these parts or am i wasting my time?

Thats not 100% TRUE!!! Becuase the ITR intake manifold will not fit a B18C1 Engine even though its a B -series motor. Most parts will

thanks for the replies guys...i'm pretty new to the honda world, got any good resources that break down which engines are used in which models/years? i know that civic vtecs are b16s, right? and integra vtecs are b18s?
also, i like both the eg and ek body styles (hatch only)..is either one better for modding? how bout the weight difference between the two?

the weight between the two is very similar. The EG is a bit lighter, although some debate that the EK is stiffer. Honda chassis are flimsy anyways. You would have to run a search and make your own conclusion because those are frequently debated topics.
Civics (SI and del sol VTEC), in stock form, always came with B16s that had VTEC. Integras always had B18s, some with and some without VTEC.
Like it was said before, not all parts will bolt up to one another mainly because of the differences in OBDs (on board diagnostic). Anything 91 and older is OBD-0. Anything 92-95 is OBD-1. Anything after 95 is OBD-2. Anything ITR will therefore be OBD-2 and might not fit all B series in that regard, so be sure when you buy something that its the right OBD.
I dont know why i wrote this long of stuff, but search around, this site has all the info you ever will want to know about Hondas and more. I just hope i helped.
Peace
