Default A civic 92-95 hatchback is an EH!

if USDM.
If JDM it is an EG.
So why does everybody call it an EG.
USDM coupes are EGs.

Everyone knows this already.

And USDM coupes are not EGs, at least mine was an EJ1.

Instead of referring to every single different car by it's exact chassis code, we just say "EG" to mean all 92-95 Civics, "EF" to mean 88-91, etc etc.

No one actually thinks that it is the correct chassis code. It's just easier this way.

we all know this even EJ1 wilcox does. it's easier to refer to it as an eg when talking about certain parts of the car.

usdm 4 door is an eg

canadian hatch's are eh's as well they jus start 2hg instead of 1hg..

but overall. besides all this bullshit.

its the JDM chassis code. My del sol VTEC is an EG2, so is a 4dr civic. Go figure.
