i think you can do better than that.

if you're installing speakers on the rear deck, just place the speaker mounting bracket where you want, then grab a razor blade and cut the hole out for the speaker. it's really not that difficult, and don't worry about ripping or damaging anything. it's also probably easier just to remove the rear shelf before the cutting.

It is pretty complicated but if you're just doing a one-time upgrade then why not do it?

Complicated, but not that hard. The hardest part is manuvering the shelf out. The OP shouldn't have any trouble as long as they follow the instructions.

Agreed, it is probably more time consuming than hard.

Indeed, I had the hardest trouble getting the shelf back on so hard, there is no room to move, or adjust..

I just ended up calling my dad for some assistance

I thought you usually dynamatted the actual body parts of the car ( i.e. the metal part), not just around the speaker. Isn't this the whole purpose?

I know you can dynamat the whole body , but its good for seakers too. So im wonderin if i could use the one that i have for the front or i have to buy a whole piece for the back too cover so itll sound better.
