i heard that if u put a type r intake camshaft and a gsr exhaust camshaft on a b series head it produces more power??/ is this true

 

i believe gsr/itr exhaust cam is the same, yes adding the itr intake cam will give you a slight advantage over a gsr.

The ITR and GSR exhaust cams differ. Both ITR cams make more power than just the intake cam. The exhaust gain is much less. The intake cam alone will provide about 11 WHP according to the dyno plots (RIP dynocenter.net).

true story but if i was to throw cams in a gsr id probly have to go a little higher lift than a ctr

 

CTR is koo for some1 who wants a lil more "umph" for their ride and is on a budget and cannot afford to upgrade valvetrain and such
