97 Prelude won't start
I held each spark plug to ground outside of the motor and I get 4 good sparks then it just stops. The only time the engine will start is once in a great while if you unhook the ecu then plug it back it but that is very spread out for when it works. Also it mostly will just fire but then die out before totally running.
I've replaced the distributor, coil, spark plus wires, checked timing, tested all CYP CKY TDC sensors, tested the ignition switch checked all grounds and tested the A/T transmission gear selector.
The very wierd thing is obviously the spark dieing out after 4 sparks but also the car will crank in every gear park, reverse, neutral, and D4-D1. An automatic should only crank/turn over in park or neutral.
the only thing I haven't tried is a new TCM or ECM
I also checked the voltage at the ECU for Park and Netral plus all gears and I got .62 volts in park and neutral then 11 volts in reverse and drive gears. (supposed to read 0 for park/neutral then 12 volts if in a gear)
I'm pulling my hair out here I feel like I've tried everything!!!
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
If any more info is needed please let me know. Thanks

sorry if this seems remedial but are your plug wires in the correct order? something as simple as this, which can happen just by mistake, will cause the exact problem you are having.....also, check your fuel pressure, etc....if it is tryin to start then the power is there but the fuel may be off and combustion isnt at its optimal level
i had a similar problem with my 93 lude. try checking your main relay or fuel filter. i know that could cause this to happen. fuel pump could be another issue.
