Hey guys, anyone out there know if the equal legnth trans-axels out of the usdm 89 teg (d16a1 motor) are 20 or 21 splines. Will the fit a 91 si tranny in a 91 ef?

 

89 Integra axles will not fit into the 91 Si transmission and they are also too short - when you see references to 20 or 21 splines, this is the number of splines on the 88-91 Civic/CRX transmission input shaft where it goes into the clutch disc and have nothing to do with the axles

 

so then, would it be possible to use a d16a1 tranny on a d16a6
