I am trying to get some time runs in before NOPI next week and saw Maplegrove is having this event this weekend. I am prob going to head down and get some runs in and see what I can do against the domestics.

yaeh, but thats up to steve, not me. and i think he found some problems with the black car... lol, like my hood trying to smash into the windshield with each pass.

 

the best was when I called maple grove and asked them what kind of cars were racing. She asked what I had and I told her a civic. She said it would not be fast enough that these cars run 12's-10's and then asked me if my car runs that fast. I said it should... she said well a lot of you civic people think they can run 10-11's but are very disapointed when they run a 16-17 and then said I should maybe run my car first before I come to this event. I said oh IC well I think I am going to come and see if my little 4 banger can go that fast, if not I will just push it with my truck. HAHA

Ohhh man, I got pretty good at this foot brake racing a couple years back...
IDK if you should bring your 17 sec Honda though. LOL

We now have a set of stupid looking hood pins on the black one. Still a long
"to do" list to go on it though. Gonna pass on this one...
