Default 88 hf : mpfi or dpfi

1988 crx hf, is it

1. multiport or dual port fuel injected?
i ask , because i recieved inconsistant data


2. if it is multiport, is it easy to add a zc engine.
i found a dx wiring conversion for zc, but nothing on hf

any info would be great..

i belive its multi, i'm pretty damn positive thats probably why you haven't found anything

yeah an hf is mpfi but the head only has 8 valves compared to 16 per cylinder.

I am pretty sure it is mpfi although the hybrid site says differently. The HF has 2 valves per cylinder as compared to the other models that have 4 per cylinder.

the 88-91 crx hf definitely did have mpfi (same as si)...however the hf has smaller axles than the si/dx crxs and you'll have to swap out the front knuckles/hubs/spindles to handle the larger axles

the HF its MPFI BUT!!, the trottle body and intake manifold are smaller in diameter and size compared to a Si regular MPFI....

hahahahaha yeah it is 16 per cylender they are 1mm vakves 10 intake 6 exhaust

Yea, as they said its MPFI, and as you asked, will a ZC swap in, yea, right in.. You will need to get a DX or SI tranny, or even ZC. What youc an do is just swap part of the axles on the other ends of the si or DX. Or just buy the hubs and all, not too hard to change. Good luck.
