Will we see a certain Modified car come out of retirement???
Might we ever be seeing a return to the modified class with a real American rotary threat to go against Team Puerto Rico?

Abel Ibarra's r100 is not a modified class car. It is a ProRwd class car. It is full chassi. Also it would be an illegal car because it weights less then the mandatory 2000lbs 2rotor/4cyl weight rule. Still would be nice to see it back in action.

that car is by no means a threat to the Puerto Ricans. They still have more power to use. All those 7.40's were not at full power and remember Jorge Lazcanos rx7 is the class pig weighing in at 2170 lbs. By next year the Puerto Rican modified class 13bs will be in the low 7.20 zone

Man, them Puerto Ricans are no joke when it comes to rotaries! Where I'm from in the Virgin Islands, they always bring their cars over from Puerto Rico, or the Puerto Ricans that live on the island would always have some vicious *** rotary powered Toyota Starlett.

yea it would be nice to see able come back in genral but the problem hes haveing is that he cant get a good sponser so he can run NHRA K&N gave him a shot and i guess he lost it sucks but yes it woud be nice to see both cars runing

well i thought it was a different modified car that i heard was coming back but it would be cool to see if that car could come back if it fits in the modified rules. id love to see it back in the candy apple red OG flaco paint.
