NO POWER TO ECU. WHAT DO I DO.
ok i am not getting any power to the ecu in my 90 civic 4d the battery has been fully charged and i had a fuel pump swith my cd player and my tach power lines all connected to this yellow/black wire form acu pin A and it all worked fine. till recently when it would not turno over. or crank over at all. i knew about this for a while but dident really care cuz i knew i wouldent be driving it for a while so i just started to check it out tonight. and heres what i have so far.
checked fuses (underhood and under dash)
checked starter connections/got it tested at autozone. good
took all lines off of power ecu line.
hooked up a positive wire to the ecu line and when the key is turned to accesories the ecu will have a constant light on. and when in the on position it just goes off and never goes on. and there is no on indication like wold normaly happen when key is turned.

ok. so i feel stupid. thats exactly what was wrong. the ts housing ground was just chillin out by the fuel line. but thats done and the ecu has power now but the starter still wont crank? whats up with that.
yes sir. both have been checked and tightened real good from removal for testing. and the grounds are both tight on there one on the valve cover and one on the tranny cable braket from battery. i did try a new location for the ground and maybe it aint getting enough ground. i will move it back and tell you what happenes. and thanks for all the help i seriously thought i was gonna have to go threw the wiring harness and all that to fix it. but i will never skit the little things on the check list ever again
