Ive been workin on my friend's 4dr 97 lx. It seems like his rear passenger door lock was stuck. We managed to get it open eventually but then the lock mechanism (shaped like a Pacman) spun downward and is stuck down now. I tried pulling up on the door lock but its stuck.. Is this common? fixable? or should i just continue ripping apart his door and taking the entire door handle/lock assembly out =x

i tried stickign a screwdriver in pacmans mouth and spinning it manually but it still wont budge. any help would be appreciated.. his door is being held shut with cableties and seatbelt..
