Is that at your house? If so, that's a lot of space!

I'm looking to buy a house in the near future and I'm extremeley lucky to find homes with a 3 car... let alone a 6

Thinking the same thing. Nice workspace, but if you got 6 in there to work on all at once, it will get cluttered.

Your lucky too, bought a house, and I lost the battle and have no garage, oh well my shop that can fit probably 6 or more in is a 2min drive away. We got in there now and it sucks for space.

i could probably fit 8 cars in there but it would be hard to work on them

the back half is gonna have the machining equipment, welding areas, workbenches, tools, etc

the front part is getting an epoxied floor and will be for working on the vehicles

Ya same here. 50x30 with outside and upstairs storage, 1/4 is set aside for welding and ****, part my dad uses for equipment storage and his car the rest I use. I currently hold about 80-85% of the space.

yep, I have overhead storage as well, and luckily i have a full unfinished basement under the house that has plenty of room for storage of vehicles when im not working on them, not to mention 2 carports. Im gonna be keeping the shop as clean as possible. Like i said before the floor is getting epoxied and the inside and outside will be painted. Theres also gonna be a bathroom installed out there, so i dont have to go through cold weather to the house in the winter.

Bathroom and all, wow, put a bed in there and your set!!!!

Keeping it clean is key. Getting behind on that sucks because it's something you NEVER want to catch up on!!!!

not sure bout exact square footage but yea to work on 6 cars at once is too tight. id say four cars EASY...we have a welding bay, mock up bay, free bay for minor work/storage, chill bay with a couch/fold out bed (in buddies basement waiting to be taken) and a main bay for 2 cars to get work done. keep in mind we moved in about 1/2 month ago so we are no where near dont renovating and equipping. major, that garage looks sick man congrats and good luck...if any one has any other questions feel free!

I can't wait until spring comes around again. That's when our new house will be finished. I currently have a 30'x30' at my house right now and that's not big enough for my needs at all.

I'm with this guy...you all suck hairy sweaty old *********.

I must say though, my credit is finally worth a damn, so I may be suckin ********* similar to what you guys are come summertime

And to you who I quoted....I work in a 1 car! Have a press, bandsaw, Lincoln TIG, Belt sander, drill press, numerous vices, a large metal table, engine hoist, 3 toolboxes, and a bunch of car parts.....it sucks BAD!

I am down to pullin the front of the car in the garage and pulling swaps, then rollin them out at night. Anything that can't be finished in a day gets done in the driveway...and snows comin...I hate small garages!
