D16Z6 Firing Order. Need HELP ASAP!
I have searched. I changed my plugs, wires, cap and rotor tonight, went back and installed it all and put the wires back in as I took them off but the car just fires and fires but wont start. From my searching I read that looking at the top of the motor from left to right...the order is 4, 3, 2 ,1 and if your looking from the passenger side at the distributor the oder clockwise is 1, 3, 4, 2. Sound right? I have no idea what I am doing wrong. All boots seem snug and I even swapped old cap and rotor and no luck. Thanks

Yes, clockwise when looking at it is 1342, from the passenger side to the driver side when looking at the car from the front is 4321 on the engine.

Hmm well I have tried this and no luck, it just fires and fires but will not start and I know everything appears to be installed correctly. I started the motor to get the screw around to remove the rotor, do I have to do anything once I get the rotor on?
Thanks
Thanks

Are you kidding me? Go out and find a bum or something and throw 'em 5 bucks to turn the engine over while you look for a spark.

Aight, I was just being a dick when I was talking about the bum.
It's dark there now...regardless of where you are. Just prop it up on the rad or something so ou can see it from the inside under the hood and turn it over...
Dark lights + ground = nice spark at night..

That sucks. I do believe the main relay controls the spark..or maybe I'm wrong and it only controls the fuel pump...Yeah...I could be wrong. But for ****'s sake - check that.

No, and yes.
It's a relay, which I guess is a fuse.
It's not in the fuse box though.
Do a search on main relay for it's location, it's up under the dash (above the pedals).
There's a way to check if it's good or bad.

Well my car has ran perfectly ever since I started this today and now im so pissed and have tried every possible order, swapped out the old stuff and now not sure what to do but kick my car. Can removing a bolt on the distributor effect the timing in any way? I removed one bolt before finding out how to remove the cap and put it back, would that effect anything? Thanks
