Default act streetlite flywheel

I installed the act streetlite which is supposed to be slighlty heavier for a little more momentum for launching and straight shot applications but im not sure how much sense it makes. The guy at act explained it to me but i almost think hes full of it.

What setup do you have? It all depends on the setup because if you get a flywheel thats too light for your setup it wont help you

my friend has a 9lb flywheel in a b13 se-r, and its too light for daily driving, takes alot more effort to get going from a stop when your in traffic and such, so your 11.9lb one should be perfect since its kinda in the middle being for racing and the street

I have the Prolite (9lb) on my daily driver and I love it. Lighter = better. I'm not sure how ACT explained the weight difference to you, but here it is in a nutshell; Some people have it in their heads that 9lbs is too light, So ACT offers a slightly heavier version (12lbs) to make all the customers happy and boost sales.
