yup, those skunk2 manifolds are notorious for sucking in too much air.. i think they had a recall 3 weeks ago... apparently green peace got wind of this situation; they are suing skunk2 for making products that remove too much air from the earth's atmosphere.. i suggest you return it and get something that doesn't quite suck as much (pun intended).

give it a try, doesnt take long to change an intake.
id send skunk 2 and email or call them and ask about the recall, maybe theres a stamped number on it they can referance to see if it qualifies

What engine did you put this on? If you put it on a GSR you probably feel slower due to no secondaires. Your going to need to change out the ecu if thats the case with a programable ecu.

You sir seem to know very little about d series then. D series motors can make pretty damn good power(when boosted) and are cheaper to repair than most other motors made.

If you put it on your motor before a cam(s) you lost quite a bit of power down low and gained maybe a little bit up top. I learned the hard way on my NA b16a build, put a portmatched AEBS IM on and lost 5-10whp till about 4500 then gained maybe 3-5whp from 5-8500. IMs before cam(s) is a bad move, just get the 59300 cam in there, &/or go back to the stock IM and it'll feel 10x better.

I was being sarcastic guys!! I have seen boosted D-series motors put down crazy numbers to the wheels

Did you go dyno it after installing just an IM? If not, what you 'feel' doesn't mean anything. Don't be so paranoid and enjoy your IM.

There is no recall. I would like to thank evosix for making me laugh about the green peace bit. If green peace came after us for anything it would be for vaporizing asphalt during burnouts.

Good lord. Too much air? Stock intake back on? I swear whatever it is some of you guys are on, pass it my way.

Did you dyno your car before? No. Did you dyno it afterwards? No. Do you have 1/4mph traps before and after? No. Until you come up with some sort of physical evidence as to why you think you are slower, other then the most inaccurate source of measuring horsepower on the planet, I would rethink your decisions.

What else is done to your car?
