No heater, what to do???
Well I’m planning on buying a CRX si with no heater core or blower and was wondering my alternatives for heat. I was thinking about using a space heater for heat. Also was wondering what to do for when the windows fog up? What you guys think?

Since you live in IL,if this is going to be a daily driver.I would say a trip to a junkyard would be your best bet and replace all the parts. As for the windows fogging up-something like a rain ex type product for that.Or just keep a towel in the car to keep wiping them -until the temps drop below freezing then you're well outa luck.

I think the best thing to do would be to replace the missing components. An electric heater can be dangerous because you have an open element that can start a fire..and you still have no ventilation to help with fogging windows.

For the money you'd spend on one of those, you might as well just fix the car.

I agree, reinstall the heater system, not that hard...kinda
A space heater will just give you something for paper to fall on while you drive and make you kill your rex cuz you are reaching down to stop a fire and drive off a bridge
and the Rain-X stuff "Fog-X" works great.
I always go over the glass with a new razorblade b4 applying Rain-x(out) or Fog-x(in)
