Yeah probably a popularity thing. More people would probably be buying the Si engines to drop into base Civics (i've seen lots of EKs converted to K20 motors) than there are people with whatever Nissan can do a swap with the VQ motors (even though they're installed in just about every single Nissan imaginable). I think the only scenario here I can think of is someone with a Maxima or Altima wanting to drop one of those in for only a 20-60 hp increase. i don't know??

sometimes they do it cuz the like the shell of the body , like i always loved the 99 style of mitsubish eclipse , but the moment i knew about the background of that car being dodge???? i turn head down
so if i woudl really love in the future ( which i dont think cuz this 06 FG's style is tight) i woudl of just buy shelll and do an engine swap ,.... again thats another reason ppl do it ....
or they just blown their engine and want a new one lol ..
