Default Honda Emblems

I just bought a set of the JDM red honda emblems for the front and back....I wanted to know if anyone around here has swapped them yet and how hard is it? do i have to take anything off for the front? I know I can get to the rears do I just push on it with my fingers to pop them out?

the front H comes off via 2 screws BEHIND the grill,

i'd pull the bumper and unscrew it properly

rear one i would use dental floss to "saw it" clean the area properly with soap and water and wipe it down with rubbing alcohol and drying it before applying the new badges

The factory ones are only a couple bucks. Break the back one off and the front, if you have a small philips screwdriver you can get away with just removing the screw in the fender and the top screws of the grill. Pull it back far enough to get your hand inside. No need for the whole bumper to come off. I wouldn't break the front one just for fear of screwing up the paint

Ummmm you can try to just pull the bumper back to unscrew the H but im pretty sure its not going to happen. You cant gain access that way. It is screwed to the grill which is screwed to the bumper. The grill is held on by about 8 screws. If you can do it without removing the bumper I would be amazed. Also if you take your time the bumper will go back on just as perfect as factory.

he doesnt need to remove the WHOLE grill just the H, if he peels it back
he can acess the 2 screws holding on the H with small enough hands OR a nifty little Screwdriver...
here is a pic of where the holes are ...if u wanna be nuts and dremel

hey hun well its an easy one to remove the grill. which u'll need from their u can get rid of the H . open hood remove black cover then unscrew the bumper screws (2) then just stick ur hand in there with small screw driver and again get rid of all 8 screws then theirs a few clips go easy on 'em and u should be able to take out the grill .

the top part is somewhat fleixable i just did this in 10ish mins because i remove the stock Ex grill that was black for the painted si grill ( it was cheaper to repalce the whole thing with new paint rathern then repainting it .....

its soo easy u dont need to remove bumper lol... pm me here or myspace if u need help

i got it off with my fingernails...however im a bit disappointed...whoever it was who told me to get the rear badge told me the wrong one....or else forgot to mention it was a bit smaller and the holes dont line up so i ripped the plugs from the new one to plug the holes and just have to hope the tape keeps the emblems on

i posted a link in my post above...image is too large to post it up here...if you click on the thumbnail it will pop up as a meduim sixe pic but if you click on it again it it will zoom in super large i like the way it looks but i dont like the fact that it didnt fit the holes...like i said though it was pretty easy to get off with my fingernails and then i just scraped off the sticky crap and waxed it with that resist all stuff i got for that warranty package. now i gotta wait a few weeks for the front one to come in..hope its just as easy ><; both cost me about $96 after shipping from jdmland.com
