Default h22 in crx?

ok so my buddy is gonna let me get his 88 crx for really cheap, the motor is blown i was thinking about taking my h22a out of my prelude and putting it in that around how much would that cost and is it worth it? i know i got to spend like 340 on the wiring harness and then get different hubs for the front. but i have no idea about mounts they are like 600 from hasport and i dont want to spend that much on them, by they way im just goin with the auto b/c thats whats in the car now and thats what is on the h22.

Thats h22 would be really nice if you could get it in, and i dont think anyone is happy with mounts, if you got the b16 you would still have to buy b series mounts for about 300 bucks, it will cost you about 2500 to put the full b16 in... engine, tranny, mounts, axles, shift linkage, ecu, wiring... it all adds up

That seems like a going around your elbow to get to your butt. Why not look around in Willmington. There is a decent Honda scene out there and I know someone has a B16 or LS for sale in your area. I see quite a few parts for sale out there.

IM jdmcars.com on here. I got a great deal with my Hasport mount kit through them. I'm not a H22 fan, but I leave that up to you. I've made my points any times in the past. Now these days if you wannna go fast, gotta go K. H series really isn't worth it.

Weight difference for one, cracker jack mods for 2, and K series ain't **** untill the K pro unleashes them. I was in the same spot you were. I sold all my B series, stuff. I never once did the thought cross my mind, that I made the wrong decision.

EDIT: BTW I've done a H22 swap in a EG before. It is a very large engine, and doesn't fit well in that chassis, let alone a little CRX bay. I would hate to do any kind of mainence on it.

I have my beater wired to OBD1 with a Z6 swap. it was originally a DPFI DX. I used this page to do my swap.

Ordering a harness from Rywire will make your life easier, I went the hard route, and built it all my self.

For the record K motors are superior, it is proven. Stock internal K's are running 11's nowadays. I'm not trying to turn this into a pissing contest, so please don't respond. I am simply debunking your ludacris claims. Norris, and Loan use K's for a reason, and it isn't because they are slower, or worse motors.

I do a lot of reading in here but not much posting. 90% of the time the answers are already given to the questions I know, or I have no idea what the correct answer is.
