how do I remove the TPS from the throttle body?? pop riveted on??
I broke the connector on my TPS and I cant figure out how to remove it from the throttle body to replace it. damn thing looks like it's held in place by two pop rivet things???
Use a dremel or a hacksaw and carefully cut a slit/groove in the top of each rivet.
Then use a flat head screwdriver to remove them.

what thread are they so I can just replace them with standard bolts??
oh and is the TPS plug and play or do you have to set it with a multimeter to the proper voltage at idle??

I dont know what the thread pitch is, because I always just reused the notched bolts.
You need to set it with a multimeter. The ignition needs to be on. Dont have the engine running while you do it.
Hook a multimeter to the red wire.
.5v at closed throttle
4.5 at wide open throttle.
