People with experience parting cars, I have questions about accord parts.
I'm parting a 94 accord ex coupe. I'm hoping someone with some experience doing this can tell me what things are worth my time removing. I dont' want to spend half and hour removing something that no one wants. I'm assuming no one is going to want a manual trans with 190,000 on it.. or an engine that uses oil with the same amount of miles.. So what parts are worth pulling that won't be too difficult to sell?
brake swap - that's about $150 from what I've seen people pay (rear discs)
headlights probably can get you some $$
Manual swap for autos will get you $$ - ecu, tranny, etc
interior panels and seats
etc lots of stuff

I many times go to people parting out cars for interior stuff. Now, it may **** you off shipping something for $10, and i try to buy more. But when you realize there are 30 things you can take off in 5 min total, it becomes more applealing to do little things. If i were you, i'd strip the interior and post adds of what you have. It really can bring in more money than you would think.
But the main thing would be things like clean body pannels, in this case rear brakes, light assemblies, etc, are the things you will sell rather quickly.

My 2 cents.
Like everyone said, interior panels and seats. Those will fetch quick cash. Seat belts are usually not worth the trouble - Honda normally warranties them for the life of the car as long as it hasn't been wrecked (i.e. I had a belt fray really bad on a Civic and the dealer replaced it for free... at 150k miles).
Door panels, window switches, lock switches, door handles, dome light.
Instrument cluster will get some money. So will the clock, and the climate control if it's in decent shape.
Alternator and power steering pump will get a few bucks regardless of miles as long as they work. A/C compressor work? That's quick cash (of course, if it's R-12, you "should" get the freon removed "properly"). Any sensors/solenoids under the hood (except the O2 sensor) will get you a few bucks, fuse boxes (inside and underhood) will get a few bucks, ECU should get quite a bit. I wouldn't bother trying to sell the radiator if it's original, chances are it's on its last legs. All a/c parts will fetch some cash as long as it worked.
Air bags are worth big bucks. Just be DAMN careful when you remove them, battery needs to be disconnected for a long time before you even consider it.
All of this, except the air bags, comes out REALLY easy. You could probably even sell the engine for 50 bucks or 100 assuming it only has bad rings and doesn't have any spun bearings. Even if it did, as long as the head isn't warped from running hot you can sell that w/cams for at least 50.

You'd be surprised - if nothing else, they can rebuild it. If it didn't have any grinds and had regular oil changes on the tranny, it's still very usable for another 50-100k.
I got my 95 Civic with 198k miles, poorly maintained and not running for $200. Once I got it running, it would pop out of 3rd and 4th and grinded really bad going into them. The original owner never changed the oil in the tranny - I changed it, drove it, changed it again, drove more, then finally changed it one last time and it would only grind when shifting at high RPMs.
I'm assuming it's manual though. If it's auto, well..... good luck on that one.
edit: just realized you said it was manual. If I needed a tranny and know it's been maintained I wouldn't hesitate to put it in my car, my last Accord went over 250k on the original tranny before it ever started to grind (and I never changed the oil in it)

Hood, fenders, Doors, front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, trunk lid, tail lights, seats, sunroof assembly.
These are all things that could be a quick cash for people who need them replaced.

Why don't you try to post some pics of various parts of the car and then maybe some suggestions can be made. I would personally like to get parted some valances and possibly some moldings.
