Well as you know my CW97 got stolen awhile back. Just put it this way. Insurance company dosent know **** about aftermarket parts. The buy back is 235 yes i am saying this 235. Just put it this way i have spoon low arm bars front/rear, spoon dampers, rota cuircut 8 still new, yokahama avs es100 new on the car which i might say everything would be at lease 2g but 235 someone jsut got a steal.

 

Me=confused, so the shell has already been sold for $235? Did they even ask you first?

 

Ditto here ... not sure what you're trying to say .. insurance should have contacted you first about settlement before selling the shell ..

how you are confused is beyond me. its perfectly clear. he is saying the insurance company told him the buy back for the car is 235. so he can buy the car back for 235 bux.

 

first off I cant understand WTF you are trying to say. Secondly, insurance could give two ***** about aftermarket parts. They dont add value to the vehicle. And technically if they wanted to they could probably jack up your rates for making the car more dangerous by modifying it.

I bought back my shell w/ itr motor, rear five lug, recaro spg, roll bar, koseis, dash door panels, transmission, header exhaust jdm front all for $1000 so its not that unbelievable.

I got mine back for 1250

wow, i thought i got a good deal on the buyback of my totalled itr for entire drivetrain, 5-lug, hytech header, toda cams, and mint interior.....! For $1900!

But if you're getting it back for $235.

 

damn ken, lol. no wonder you got such a nice EF hatch, haha. the header and the 5-lug are worth more than that. let alone thw car and the swap

and about the OP, who cares what he means??? ya know? buyback was $235 for his shell. that's really low, neato . sure, maybe someone else got it, or maybe he got it and was doin that stupid refferring-back thing, but who cares?

That's nothing! When my old turbo DC2 SiVTEC got T-boned the insurance company gave the car back to me, after giving me a fat check, so I could remove the parts I wanted before it was recycled. A mangled shell was sent to the recylcer. Gotta love Japan
