I am trying to decide a similar situation. I have Crower Stage1 cams and they are suppose to be for street/turbo race. I just don't know what the hell turbo race means. I've heard of the Type S cams not working so just wanted to see what the specs were. I spoke to Brian from Crower and he said that it should be fine for turbo with 'minimal' tuning with cam gears. I just want to do it right the first time and minimize problems. So I am searching for answers before the turbo gets installed. Thanks.
This page has some Type S info:

I wouldn't do S cams for a turbo app. They have too much overlap in them and that'll have an adverse effect.
Stick with your Crowers and do like Brian said, tune out some of the overlap in them usuing cam gears and a dyno.

He's right, those cams have a very high overlap and lift.Like 12.2mm(.480") for the intake vtec cam lobe and .11.2mm(.440") for the exhaust.Besides,i believe thses cams were not made for any other prelude head besides the one the type s comes with.If you do a search, youll find some stuff.
