I got out of work yesterday only to find a nice two foot long dent/scrape along the passenger side door and rear quarter panel. So after i started cussing in my head i began to think of the other time my car had been damaged by idiots and they didnt leave any contact information and how id kill to find the person who did it.

Well, I got close enough to the car and saw that there WAS A NOTE!!! Turns out the bitch who hit me wasn't the one who left it, but a stealthy woman in another car who saw the whole thing and wrote down EVERYTHING on this lady. Note said it was a lady with kid, white chevy lumina, license plate number, and even told me that after she hit me and inspected the damage she had done she moved down four spaces and parked again!

I called the lady, talked to her about it then contacted the fairfax county police. I was told they "would send someone right out". That turned into a 2.5 hour wait and the cops still never showed up. They told me they were handling urgent calls and couldnt help me and instead i should go home and wait there for an officer, which i did after more cussing.

So to make this story shorter, the cops got the ladies address who hit me and left a message informing her she had 24 hours to contact the officer or it would be a hit and run. Just got a call 5 minutes ago that they got ahold of her and she confessed so it wont need to go to court. Her excuse? "She was scared and was babysitting and didnt know what to do and had to get the kid back to maryland." My dad, a retired Colonel ripped her a new one. Pretty sure he made her cry.

Im taking the witness, Anne Dinh, out to lunch ASAP. Ive got a little more faith in this world that it might not be full of idiots and people who just dont care.

Heh Anne's last name is Vietnamese all right. It's nice to hear that everything is working out well.

My DD got robbed last night. The only thing they took was the face plate, so I got no tunes in the car. That radio is worth &lt; $50 and now I have to go eBay a face plate for it. Pretty lame if you ask me.

It's also nice to know there is another R in NOVA!

Exactly what im doing. Place is called "wagonwork". They do excellent work and all the damaged sports cars in the area go there...

Same thing happened to me, but I actually found the car that had done the damage in the lot. Their red car had left reddish burn marks on my purple paint. And on their red car I found purple streaks.

But, when I called the police over to check it out, they weren't willing to write up a report due to there being no witness.

A drunk driver backed into my 1993 Accord outside a bar, then proceeded to threaten he was gonna beat me up as my car was parked behind his company truck. He drove a way. After some work with the police about a week, it took some time. My broken taillight, dented filler, panel and scrape on the rear bumper (this is my beater DD keep in mind) turned into the easiest $900 bones I ever made. Get quotes from like 10-15 places, then show the lady the highest ones.
