I have an 06 civic dx and wanted to get power door locks & remote starter install w/keyless entry.


The problem is that, I can get stores like circuit city/tweeter/best buy to install my power door locks for me but they won't install the remote starter on a manual. They said it's illegal in NJ and they won't do it even if it's the Remote starter is made for manual. And they won't install anything that you didn't buy from the store. Catch 22 sucks.


So...where can i go? What can i do?

 

Find a local high-end car shop that can do the work. Or a local mom and pop shop. Take a look at the work and there shop. If it looks nice and clean and well maintained then you can rest a sure that the work can be done. most shop that take pride in the looks take pride in there work.

 

06 civic dx's dont come with power door locks?
are u serious?

anything above 00 should come with power eveything imo
