HELP. I need to find some of these for my friends hatch. Or else his car won't pass emmisions. Can anyone help me out on this.
I need new piston rings for a 93 dx 1.5L motor. All I want is like another set of OEM ones would be fine or aftermarket but just cheap ones that will last for like 1000 miles or so until a swap goes in.
So if you guys know where to get a set(4) of these I would really appriciate it.

I do not know of any cheap rings for any engine that I know of. Even if you do get new rings you still need to take the head off (this means you need a new headgasket) and hone the cylinder walls so that the rings seal properly. I really dont think its worth it if you are gonna be pulling the motor in a short while for a swap. If you still want rings you can go to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ and order from there.

 

I can get Hastings for a good price but like Avante said the labor dwarf any kind of savings you obtain.
