Right now im obd1 JDM p30 ecu.


Is it better to run the USDM or JDM p30.

Which ecu runs BEST on this motor. (for obd 1)

Is it worth it to upgrade back to odb2.

 

I take it that it's actually a B16A2, if so, then the best ECU to run is a USDM P30. Keep it OBD1.

 

Yes, its a b16a2 like the subject says. 2000 si us spec.

Why keep it obd 1....

and Since i have a jdm ecu, am i seeing any perfomance/gas milage loss because of it?

You already got the answer run the USDM P30 ecu from the Del Sol. Really though you wont notice a difference in anything between the US and JDM ecu. If you want to go back to obd2 then do it, it doesnt matter as its all the same map.

Keep it obd1 so you can tune down the road if need be
