I say ES muffler and add a resonator,

OR if you want it really quiet go with something like the SNL twin loop have had it on 2 cars, a b16 swapped eg pushing 160/110 only thing to keep things mellow was the SNL twin loop(no cat no resonator) and still sounded nice, only heard it in vtec/full throttle situations....I drive thru burbank/pasadena all the time and never one fix it ticket(both of those cities hand out exhaust tickets like candy on halloween )

Now I have one on my sol(D16Z6) with a 22" resonator and gutted cat also with 2.5" mandrel bent piping....**** is damn near SILENT!

http://hondamarketplace.com/ze...age=1

FYI: I didn't lose/gain any power over a straight thru N1 style muffler on the b16.

Damn quiet. I had one on my LS swapped CRX, and currently have it on my LS/VTEC hatch with a header and a a gutted cat. You hear almost all of the intake, and very little out of the exhaust.

I have a Apex'i World Sport II and I absolutely LOVE it. It's VERY quiet and to police and crappy theives (in IL) it looks basically stock. You can drive like a normal person and not hear the exhaust at all or even if you get on it once you hit about 4 grand you hear more motor than you do exhaust at least in the car.

A resonator will do alot to change the sound of your car. Get the longest one you can, or get two medium ones. It will take the raspy sound out, and make it lower, and quieter.

P.S. buy my twin loop OBX muffler. selling it cheap!!

I have an Apexi WS and it's extremely quiet. I hear the intake over the exhaust going up through the rpms, and the only time I can really hear the exhaust is on downshifts.

My opinion. Get the WS2 or RSR ex mag.

search OBX twin loop, there is a review thread that has a lot of good info in it. its got good reviews on here. When i had it on my car, it was alright, still kind of loud, but I didnt have a resonator then. With a resonator, I am sure it would sound great.

ITR, CTR, worldsport, and RSR are all relatively quiet and decently performing exhausts.

I put an ITR exhaust on my car, and love the way it looks

We've used RSX mufflers that ****** KICK ***!!! and Right now I'm running 2.5" with a 2.5" cat, 2.5" resonator and a 2.5" magnaflow.. It's an oval straight through design.. it looks TOTALLY sleeper except the 2.5" pipe..

you don't hear idle, normal driving is super mellow and deep, and racing it's moreso intake sound that you hear..
