New JDM ITR Tranny?
Are you looking for a 98 spec? If so, you can always buy a USDM ITR tranny and install the 4.7 FD with GSR 4th/5th gears. Be prepared to find someone in Japan that will freight it over.
The main thought behind this is based on this information. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1769284
A friend is wanting to buy a brand new tranny and we thought we'd see if would be worth it to try for a NEW JDM trans as opposed to a NEW US trans.

Just bought a new Type R tranny for my antique Teg, believe it or not. (Didn't know they had an LSD, either). My tuner (T1 Race Development in Rowlett, TX) scored on for me at some Acura parts shop in Georgia, IIRC.
