weapon*R intake
never thought much of weapon r but they offered to test fit an intake and exhaust on my car for free, so how are ya gonna turn down free parts. this is the intake and they fabbed a down pipe and exhaust so when the finished product is done ill bring it back for final fitting. im super happy with it, my car is definitly more responsive but my friend and i concluded that it looked like a poor design pointing the intake at the battery with all that extra space on the left. but it was better than stock and good enough for "free". i cant wait till the rest gets put on.

i dont like it either being pointed at the battery...not very good for airflow and a bit ugly..but its free...i need to move to cali..everybody there always gets free ****
I don't see how this one is going to do much. The stock intake routes down for some cooler air at least, but this looks like it is only going to get hot air, and blocked flow.
EDIT...
Oh wait, that isn't an Si is it? I guess it depends how the stock intake was in there...can't remember what it looks like in the non-Si models.

the car accelerates a lot quicker and smoother from 3k rpm and up. and makes that cool intake sound. not much of a difference but definitly better than stock. it was dynoed and they said the real gains were with the exhaust and downpipe. i never planned on modifying this car cuz its my DD and all my money goes, to my nissan 240sx, but again it was free and there just simple bolt ons.
