There is nothing wrong with Rotas my friend, nothing at all. I love them.

except that they are cast, and that i've seen one crack on the track. (nearly broke off all the spokes)

then again, one of my millenia's spokes cracked on the track.

Julia Lauria White, I grew up with that girl. Her number is (910) 891-0943. Tell her Jordan says what's up when you call.

Anyway, those wheels would look great. People used to ALWAYS give me **** about having Rota GT3s on my ITR... But man, there are a lot of potholes where I live, I'm not trying to bend up some Spoon SW388s or VOLKs... I'd rather bend up some $400 wheels and not worry about it.

By the way... Call me a newbie, but what exactly is offset? It's one of those things I never bothered to learn.

Yeah I agree Nothing at all wrong with rota's for an ek or eg etc...But to me Type R's are like the pinnacle of Honda's and to just slap some 500 dollar wheels on one is just retarded.

Well, the stock ITR rims are cast, just like Rotas and there's no problem with them. Doesn't matter what make it is ... a cast rim is a cast rim, and a forged rim is a forged rim ... doesn't matter if it's Rota, Buddy Club, Volk, or OEM Honda. I personally run Slipstreams on my ITR, and for the money, I wouldn't put anything else on. I get the styling of the Spoon SW388's for a quarter of the price. And slips are light as ****, and cheap to replace. It's a win-win situation in my eyes.

Seriously keep the lame *** appearance/cosmetic forum bandwagon hater bullshit out of here. Faster cars in here on rotas than all the hardparking JDM bandwagon horseshit found everywhere else on H-T except RR/auto-x .

Whatever, just giving my opinion. And oh by the way the only other forum in HT that I have ever been in is the Integra forum and for sale.So I don't know what you are talking about. And I am just saying it is just weird seeing a 15-18000 dollar car being wasted by putting some 500 dollar wheels on it.JUST MY OPINION!Leave it at that.

One thing you have to understand texastype_r... Just because we can afford to drop the dime on a $15,000+ car, doesn't mean we want to spend $2,000 on a set of wheels.

Especially like in my town, where the roads are quite rough in most places (Not to mention CONSTANT construction all over the town) normal curbage and wear occur daily. I really don't want to be cruising down College Road at 2:00am on my brand new custom colored 17" VOLK TE37s, and all of the sudden hit a construction patch, pop all of my tires, and bend my wheels that were so expensive, that I have bought cars for less.

It doesn't make sense for someone like me. I'd rather have a set of $500 wheels that still look good, and perform good, and if they get destroyed, big deal, they're just Rotas.

See my point? Everyone can flame me all they want, it's my car, I'd rather spend my $2,000 on something that actually moves my car faster, or makes it handle better.

Nothing wrong with Rotas. They look great and do the job unless you are bouncing over gators on the track every weekend.

As long as you don't front and try to pass them off as real versions of whatever they are modeled after, you're golden

"Nah dawg, nah 'em are real Spoom racing rims..."

"Really? I didn't know Spoon made 18" chrome wheels?"

Seriously, I've had that conversation with a ricer before... Pretty sad, hahaha.

See, I think it's retarded to spend $2 grand on wheels when you can spend $500 and save the rest for track tires.

But WTF do I know? I'm so dumb I run plain old stock wheels on the street.
