01 Civic can't start!
Not sure if it is battery issue or something else wrong. I want to know something about the issue before I towe my car to a shop. Here is what happened: turn on the key, I heared severl clicks and also some noise that sounds like the engine tried to start, tired again, heard a series of clciks. Besides, I turned on radio, it's ok, and turned on head-light, it's on but couldn't tell if it's dim since it was morning.
The similar things started to happen from last week, but fortunately it finally started after I tried for sever times, but no luck today.
Any hints? Thanks a lot.

Either a bad battry (most likely) or a bad starter solenoid or a ground (least likely)
Just need a new battry or a recharge on the old one, depending on how old the battery is.

batteries ded...mine is going too...it did that to me before when i drove with my HID's and my system on...i have a stock battery so it drained it....the battery still has enough power to power other components but if you know anything about starting a car it takes an average of 300-400amps to crank it...so a low power battery wont start the car but will run low power accessories

most likely cause is a dead battery........have it tested at kragen or somthing then replace it or charge it as necessary...... ohh if u remove the battery from the car
when u put the new/charged battery back in remember to do the IDLE LEARN procedure. to do this warm the car up to operating temp. then let it idle for 10 or more minuets after the radiator fans come on.

this information is incorrect ragingSPAM the average 4 cylinder engine uses about 130-150 amps during cranking. if i remember correctly our em2's use only approx. 120 amps during cranking

well if your still on the same battery that you got the car with...go get it tested and if its on its way out just get a new one...
you're suppose to change it every 5 years...nothing wrong with squeezing out another year...just get it tested before winter!!
